Twelve days in Sri Lanka is, in reality, very little time. Hundreds of temples, national parks, coastal towns, deserted beaches and scenic viewpoints can hardly be packed into just two weeks; you have to be selective. And, honestly, with this local tour operator, we returned home with the feeling of having made the most of every minute on the island. Yes, the tours are packed, with a lot of daily activities and little time to get lost among the monuments. But the journey, by van, throughout Sri Lanka, travelling along backroads, with local guides — above all, very positive and passionate people, always with anecdotes and interesting facts to share, and very approachable — was memorable. If you want to get to know Sri Lanka and return home with the conviction of having understood a little more about this country, this agency is, quite possibly, a very good choice.
