Your driver takes care of the road so you can enjoy the view. Our drivers speak English, but they are drivers rather than tour guides. If you'd like a guide to explain the history and culture at the sites, you can request guide services separately when you ask for your quote.

Private driver FAQ
How much does a private driver in Sri Lanka cost?
It depends on the route, the number of days and the vehicle. Fuel, highway tolls, parking and the driver's meals and accommodation are all included. Send us your plan and we'll reply with a personal quote.
Will someone meet us at the airport?
Yes. One of our representatives meets you at the airport when you arrive and introduces you to your driver. At the end of the trip, your driver takes you back to the airport for your flight.
Where does the driver stay at night?
The driver's accommodation and meals are included in our quote, so you don't need to arrange or pay for them.
Can we change the route during the trip?
No. The quote is based on the distance of your route, so the route is fixed once we have quoted it. Please list every place you'd like to visit when you ask for your quote.
Does the driver also guide us at the sites?
No. Our drivers speak English but are not tour guides. If you'd like a guide to explain the history and culture, you can request guide services separately: tick the guide box in the quote form and we'll include it in your quote.
