This 14-day Sri Lanka tour offers a perfect combination of southern beaches, wildlife safaris, hill country scenery, cultural heritage, northern exploration, and relaxing beach time in Trincomalee. Starting from Weligama and the southern coast, guests enjoy scenic beaches, Yala or Udawalawe safari adventures, Ella’s famous Nine Arch Bridge and Mini Adam’s Peak, and a beautiful train journey through the hill country to Kandy. The journey continues through ancient heritage sites such as Dambulla, Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, and Jaffna, including cultural highlights like the Temple of the Tooth Relic, Nallur Kovil, and Jaffna Fort. The tour also includes peaceful beach stays in Trincomalee with optional Pigeon Island excursions before ending with a Colombo city tour and a comfortable overnight stay near the airport before departure.

Day Description Overnight Stay
Day 01 A company representative will meet and greet you at the airport. Drive to Weligama en route, and if desired, enjoy the Madu River Safari at Balapitiya. Thereafter proceed to the Galle Old Dutch Fort and check in to the hotel for the overnight stay. Weligama
Day 02 After breakfast proceed to either Tissamaharama or Udawalawe via the southern coastal belt of Mirissa, Tangalle, and Dickwella. Visit the Coconut Hill viewpoint and enjoy the afternoon wildlife safari at either Yala National Park or Udawalawe. If staying in Tissamaharama, visit Kataragama Temple. Day 03 After breakfast proceed to Ella. En route visit Buduruwagala and enjoy trekking to Mini Adam’s Peak and the Nine Arch Bridge. View Ravana Falls, spend some time in Ella, and check in to the hotel for the overnight stay. Ella
Day 04 Early morning collect breakfast packets and take the train ride from Ella to Nanu Oya Station. Thereafter drive to Kandy via the tea factory and Nuwara Eliya with a quick city tour.
