Day Description Overnight Stay
01 A company representative will meet and greet you at the airport. Drive to Weligama en-route. If desired, do the Madu River Safari at Balapitiya. Thereafter proceed to Galle, visit the old Dutch Fort, and check in to the hotel for the overnight stay. Weligama / Hikkaduwa
02 After breakfast proceed to either Tissamaharama or Udawalawe via the southern coastal belt of Mirissa, Tangalle, and Dickwella. Visit the Coconut Hill viewpoint and do the afternoon wildlife safari at either Yala or Udawalawe National Park. If you are at Tissamaharama, you can visit the Kataragama Temple. 03 After breakfast proceed to Ella en-route visiting Buduruwagala. Do the trekking to Mini Adam’s Peak and visit the Nine Arch Bridge. View the Ravana Falls waterfall, spend some time in Ella, and check in to the hotel for the overnight stay. Ella
04 Early morning collect the breakfast packets and take the train ride from Ella to Nanu Oya Station. Thereafter drive to Kandy via the Tea Factory and do a quick city tour of Nuwara Eliya. 05 After breakfast visit the Royal Botanical Gardens and, if desired, visit a Gem Lapidary. Drive to Polonnaruwa / Habarana.
